One of the most beautiful and romantic spots in Rotterdam is the Veerhaven, where historic sailing ships gently bob on the water. Inland waterway vessels and yachts also find a (temporary) home here. It is a magnet for couples in love and newlyweds, who enjoy having themselves immortalized by a photographer against this picturesque backdrop.
The Veerhaven is located in the Scheepvaartkwartier, where stately townhouses along classic avenues keep Rotterdam's rich maritime past alive. Around the Veerhaven, you will find various restaurants and terraces, such as Loos. The Veerhaven has a jetty for the Water Taxi.
