Horror Stories is opening three haunted houses at the Citrus Auction

Jeroen Veenstra

Horror Events has been organising spine-chilling events around Halloween for a few years now. Following previous editions at Delftsehof, ‘Horror Stories’ will take place at the Citrusveiling from 16 October. During ‘Horror Stories’, visitors step into a mysterious, cursed book and experience three different stories. Tickets are now available via this link.

The event features live actors, sets, sound and special effects. Visitors walk through the rooms at their own pace, becoming part of the story. “We don’t simply want to scare visitors; we want to truly draw them into our story,” the organisers explain. “From the moment you step inside, you’ll feel as though you’re right in the middle of the pages of our book. There’s a surprise lurking around every corner.” For the event, three haunted houses are being built from scratch in the halls of the Citrus Auction. Each house forms its own chapter, which begins the moment you step over the threshold.

About Horror Events

The event is an initiative of Horror Events, a Rotterdam-based organisation with experience in the genre. A team of designers, set builders, make-up artists, technicians and actors is responsible for the sets, technical aspects and effects on site.
