Rolife opens its second brand store on Lijnbaan

Jeroen Veenstra

Rolife is one of the fastest-growing brands in the field of wooden construction kits and DIY miniatures. With over 300 products ranging from detailed miniature houses and book nooks to mechanical music boxes, moving marble runs and 3D jigsaw puzzles. The kits consist of hundreds of wooden parts, allowing enthusiasts to assemble a detailed model themselves, step by step. Following its successful launch in Arnhem, the company has chosen Rotterdam as its next city. The new brand store will open at Lijnbaan 117, with an opening weekend on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August.

At the new brand store in Rotterdam, visitors can view and handle Rolife’s full range. Staff provide expert advice on which flat-pack furniture set best suits the customer’s experience and interests. In addition, exclusive products that are not available online are occasionally on offer. The Rotterdam opening marks the second step in an active expansion: Rolife Benelux has plans for more branches in the Netherlands, as a prelude to establishing a full presence across the Benelux.

Wooden model kits are becoming increasingly popular as a hobby amongst adults. The combination of craftsmanship, concentration and a tangible end result – a detailed model to be proud of – appeals to a wide audience.
