The Old Harbour shows where Rotterdam once began as a port city. The first jetty was built here around 1350. Around the Old Harbour, various attractions are located within short walking distance of each other. Visit the Kijk-Kubus and discover what it is like to live in a cube house. At the Marine Museum, you will learn more about the history of the Marine Corps and its special bond with Rotterdam. On the east side of the harbour lies Scheepshelling Koningspoort, a historic shipyard where traditional wooden ships are still maintained and restored. The White House
The White House, one of Rotterdam's most famous monuments, stands on the Oude Haven. When the building was completed in 1898, it was the first skyscraper in Europe. Moreover, it survived the bombing of 1940, making it one of the few historic buildings in the city center that have been preserved.

From the Old Harbour, you can walk to the Markthal, the Laurenskerk, and the Binnenrotte in just a few minutes. The Meent is also nearby, with a mix of shops, cafes, and restaurants. For a night out, Comedy Club Haug is also within walking distance.

The Oude Haven is located in the Maritime District and is easily accessible by train, metro, tram, and bus via Blaak station. The Water Taxi also has a stop nearby. Coming by car? You can easily park in the Oude Haven parking garage, right next to the harbor.
