In the Babel theater hall, you are welcome for surprising, socially engaged performances, from professional musical theater to idiosyncratic new maker projects.
Babel is a home for inclusive performing arts. A sanctuary where the (Rotterdam) performing arts explore and imagine an inclusive society. Babel has a professionally operating ensemble that reflects the diversity of society. For talent that does not (yet) have a place at art schools, Babel offers a teaching program. For schools, there are school performances and inclusive theater workshops. New makers can come to Babel for a residency program involving training, research, and production.
