Open Court Omicide originated in the sixties of the last century. Started as separate Reformed and Reformed neighborhood congregations that hosted each other, which are now a PKN neighborhood congregation through Samen op Weg. Since 1970, the district municipality, together with the Roman Catholics, has had the church center “Open Hof”, located on a square near the Hesseplaats shopping center.

Due to (part) municipal redevelopment of the shopping center, this 40-year-old building was demolished, after a beautiful new building was put into use on March 6, 2011. This has no consequences for the functioning of the district municipality. Easily accessible by metro, Hesseplaats stop (line A Schiedam-Nesselande), also free parking practically in front of the door.
