Cultural education using digital media

The Digital Playground Foundation is a cultural institution. We have a supervisory board and a director. In short, we are engaged in cultural education using digital media. Our workshops are a combination of cultural and/or social content and a form of processing with media technology. This can be film, photography, animation, virtual reality, game design, etc. Of course, 21st century skills and digital literacy are familiar concepts to us.

Develop creativity

We take the term 21st century creativity as our starting point: developing creativity using digital media in workshops where children and young people work together on a digital (art) work in a specific media technology.

Our activities are made possible, among other things, by a subsidy from the Cultural Plan of the Municipality of Rotterdam. Our focus is primarily on media education for children and young people in Rotterdam, but we are open to projects and assignments that have a different or greater reach.
