During the long summer of the lock-downs, neighbors often spoke to each other on the street. The need to be busy and see more greenery around you grew. And so quite a few people got to work.

The ideas and ambitions grew: what if we get more people on board? To make the island greener, get to know each other, and also talk more about the future? You can think whatever you want about climate change and the consequences that will come. But in February 2022, the water flooded the quays again. We could try to do something about it, was the thought. And so, in Rotterdam style: roll up your sleeves!
