Youth Theater Hofplein, an essential part of Rotterdam since 1985, offers a professional stage to 11,500 children every year through workshops and programs. With a number of visitors of 65,000 people during performances and festivals, it is a cultural concept in the city and its surroundings. This cultural breeding ground, where friendships are formed and generations of Hofpleiners return, values every young player as an equal artistic partner. Fun, self-confidence and creative growth are central in the free time and within the educational program. In addition, the theater is actively looking for collaborations in the city to involve even more children and young people in their diverse theater offering.
