Stumbling stones

During the Second World War, thousands of Jewish families were taken from their homes in Rotterdam and deported, first to camp Westerbork and later to camps such as Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen.

For the commemoration of ten years of the Jewish Children's Monument in 2023, Kroonenburg Producties was commissioned by Loods 24 and the Jewish Children's Monument to create the musical performance 'Struikelstenen', which tells the story of the Jewish girl Mirjam.

Keimpe de Jong added songs that are sung by the choir of Christophoor primary school.
