In Overschie, until 1972, a round stone tower mill 'De Hoop' stood on the Delftweg near the Schie, owned by the Speelman family. For low-flying aircraft from Zestienhoven airport, this mill was a dangerous obstacle, which is why it was decided to rebuild the last mill in Overschie, once about 28, with the original going gear on the Overschiese Kleiweg.
