Oriental World Festival takes place at Prince Alexander Square
Two days of Oriental street food, exotic drinks, music, dance and handmade products. Oriental World Rotterdam offers just that on 7 and 8 September at Prins Alexanderplein, between Alexandrium and city offices.
Music will come from Indian folk singer Jeroen Claase, Moluccan singer Ais Lawa-Lata and the Bintang Bali Rockers from Rotterdam and its surroundings will be present both days. Both Saturday and Sunday, the exotic dance group Nuansa Seni can be admired. In costume, they perform traditional cultural dances.
World cuisine
It serves dishes from Balinese, Thai, Moluccan, Filipino, Nepalese, Javanese, Indian, Sumatran and other world cuisines.
The Oriental World Festival in Rotterdam takes place right outside the doors of Rotterdam Alexander metro and train station. Saturday, the festival is open from 13:00 to 20:00 and Sunday from 12:00 to 19:00. Children up to 12 years old can enter for free. Buy the ticket here. At the door, admission is more.
