Kaapse Kunstmarkt

On Sunday, August 30, Plein will be dedicated to art from Rotterdam and the surrounding area. During the Kaapse Art Market, fifty artists will present their work. View art, meet the makers, and get hands-on during one of the workshops.

Program on the Square

10am – 4pm: Cape Art Market

View and buy paintings, photography, ceramics, illustrations, jewelry, and other work by fifty artists.

10:30 – 12:00: Imaginative portraits: who are you in color?

Create a colorful fantasy portrait during this children's workshop by Liesbeth van Moorsel. Parents and guardians are welcome to join in.

13:00 – 13:30: Book presentation: LA MEUSE DE MAAS 2026

Alike Dalkmann presents her new book

13:30 - 15:50: Codarts Talents

Young singer-songwriters from Codarts play their own music at Plein.

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: capture your summer on a postcard

Capture a summer memory on a postcard under the guidance of Monika Monko. Everyone can participate.

16:00 – 16:30: closing drinks and raffle

End the day with drinks and stand a chance to win a work of art with a completed stamp card.
