LantarenVenster is a film house, theatre and restaurant on the Kop van Zuid. With a weekly changing film programme and around 120 concerts per year, there is always something new to discover.

Cinema

The program of LantarenVenster changes weekly and consists mostly of films that you don't see in regular cinemas. The film house has six rooms where you can see classics, documentaries, world cinema, children's films and Oscar winners. A number of Rotterdam film festivals are also held here, such as Camera Japan, Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam and International Film Festival Rotterdam.

Music stage and restaurant

LantarenVenster also hosts around 120 concerts each year, mostly jazz, singer-songwriter and world music. Before or after a performance, you can take a seat in the light café-restaurant with a view of the Rijnhaven. For a cup of coffee or a drink, or for lunch and dinner. The menu changes regularly.
