The entrance area around Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen is already beautifully illuminated in the evening with an artwork by Pipilotti Rist: Wasting Life On You. On 28, 29 and 30 March, the area around the Depot will get even more colourful during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Under blooming and illuminated cherry blossoms, visitors can enjoy Japanese and Korean culture, tasty dishes and festive activities. Tickets are available now via this link.
The beginning of spring will be celebrated with a light show bringing the cherry blossoms to life, various performances, a silent disco and a karaoke.
There are culinary offerings of mainly Japanese and Korean dishes. Such as fresh sushi, ramen, takoyaki and mochi. In addition, Korean classics such as kimchi, bibimbap and freshly prepared bulgogi are also served. Of course, drinks such as matcha lattes, sake and Korean soju are also available.
