Morena serves cuisine, music and passion from Central and South America

Darryl Peijnenborgh and Faruk Dervis is the duo behind The Iron Lady and The Fat Fox. They had been walking around with the idea of a hotspot full of flavour, music and passion from Central and South America for some time. That has become Morena on Botersloot 26a.

Morena offers guests a culinary journey where indigenous traditions, Spanish passion and Caribbean soul come together. There are fragrant empanadas, hearty tacos de birria and grilled steaks from the asado.The drinks menu offers mezcal with maracuja, pisco with guava, rum with lime or a spicy margarita. There is also a wide selection of rums and mezcals.

Morena is a tribute to the Latjns-American woman, powerful, proud and vibrant with life. The interior with Latin American accents, designed by Horecasfeermakers, exudes warmth, atmosphere and colour.
