Savor&Nosh now also has patisserie and deli on Westewagenstraat
Jeroen Veenstra
Savor&Nosh is already a popular restaurant in the centre of Rotterdam. The owners have now opened a new Patisserie & Deli a little further down Westwagenstraat. With good coffee, croissants, patisserie and savoury sandwiches.
The menu at Savor&Nosh Patisserie - Deli features classics and contemporary variations, such as cruffins, cinnamon knots and other viennoiserie. Everything is prepared fresh daily in the in-house bakery.
With the expansion, the entrepreneurs, together with pastry chef Charl Odijk, realise the desire to produce more in-house. The patisserie also supplies the restaurant with freshly baked products. At the same time, the new shop responds to the growing demand for treats for on the go or during lunch walks: "Many guests asked for products they could take home or to the office. That is now finally possible."
The interior blends seamlessly with the familiar Savor&Nosh. Warm colours, tiles and arches make it clear that this is a real sister to the shop down the road. Yet the Patisserie & Deli has its own character and a fresh look. The opening on 19 August was celebrated festively and there will be a variety of tastings and introductory promotions in the coming weeks.
