BonTon serves Arousing Dinner Show with chefs Herman den Blijker and Nick de Kousemaeker
BonTon Rotterdam, known as the first strip club with male dancers, is introducing a new concept after a completely sold-out summer: the BonTon Arousing Dinner Show. From 6 November, there will be seven evenings where intimate and elegant performances by both male and female dancers will be combined with culinary refinement by chefs Herman den Blijker and Nick de Kousemaeker of restaurant GOUD.
Whereas the Friday and Saturday shows focus on the theme of consent, the Arousing Dinner Show plays with the idea that attraction takes a different form for everyone. It is precisely this versatility that makes the evening personal, playful and sizzling. The Arousing Dinner Show is a dance performance with a cast of professional dancers who bring elegance and sensuality to life and make the abstract tangible.
Especially for this series, BonTon has teamed up with chef Herman den Blijker and chef Nick de Kousemaeker of restaurant GOUD. A sensually exciting menu with a touch of aphrodisiac, tailored to the intimate and sensual setting of the show. The evening's culinary programme will be a three-course exploration. Guests will start with an exciting box full of refined small dishes, personally selected by Herman den Blijker and Nick de Kousemaeker. The main course pays tribute to Italian cuisine, rich and full of flavour. The finale is in the hands of world champion pastry chef Frank Haasnoot, who creates a tempting dessert.
The choice of Herman den Blijker was obvious. "We wanted a real Rotterdam chef - and who do you call? Herman of course," says Lotte. Den Blijker had already visited the location twice together with Casper Reinders and immediately reacted enthusiastically when the call came. "We've never done this before," said Lotte and Herman almost simultaneously. From that click grew the plan to create a show together that is both surprising and enticing.
The BonTon Arousing Dinner Show can be experienced on 30 October (try-out), 6, 13, 20 and 27 November and 4, 11 and 18 December. Reservations can be made via this link.
