In Ik mag niet klachten Marcel van Roosmalen searches for the answer to the question of how things could have gotten so out of hand in his life. And he ends up in Arnhem, a city where you are already 2-0 behind at birth but where he unfortunately grew to be the Arnhemmer of the Fatherland.

Outside the city limits, he makes a splash with his razor-sharp formulations and eagle eye for human shortcomings, and is therefore hated and threatened. Within the city limits, he is adored. Yet moving back to Arnhem is not an option, because he knows for sure that it can only disappoint. What is left then? Nothing. And he is not allowed to complain either.
