Huis Sonneveld pianosessies

Between 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM, live piano music fills the living room of the house. Take a seat, relax and let yourself be carried away by a programme in which 1930s jazz and folk-pop come together in a contemporary sound. Or take the opportunity to explore the house in the meantime. Laura Drion, together with Ron Cha and Barry Green, brings personal interpretations of jazz classics from the 1930s. In addition, they play music by, among others, Bill Evans and The Beatles, supplemented with their own folk-pop compositions. Gabo Vos presents a varied programme of his own work and compositions by classical and modern composers who inspire him. His music moves between 20th-century classical music, flamenco, post-bop and free improvisation, driven by a curious search for hidden sounds and stories in the world around us.
