Emergence Festival Rotterdam

In an industrial setting in the Port of Rotterdam, you will discover work by a new generation of makers who push the boundaries between art and technology.

Visitors move through a program of large-scale installations and smaller experiments that you not only view but also experience. Many works invite interaction and show how technology influences how we look, feel, and relate to the world around us.

In addition to the installations, there is room for music, meeting people, and an informal festival atmosphere with food and drinks. The festival brings together new work with projects from previous editions and shows how ideas develop over time.

With this second edition, Emergence Festival Rotterdam is growing into a place where makers, the public, and various disciplines come together, not just to look, but to actively experience and engage in dialogue.
