Duoble Helix

During Rotterdam Art Week, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam presents an alienating world inhabited by hybrid creatures. A museum exhibition combined with a theatrical experience.

Double Helix by artistic director Nanine Linning and designer Bart Hess explores the physical impact of technological progress on the human body. Together, they create a visual world in which the body is not only a vehicle for expression, but also a place of transformation, confrontation and resistance.

The project blends visual art, video and performance with interactive elements to create an astonishing experience. During a guided tour lasting one hour, visitors wander freely through four rooms in Het Katoenhuis.
