Diner | VER VAN HIER

We will conclude the theater weekend VER VAN HIER together with a delicious Korean meal. During dinner, we will look back on the weekend and there will be space to share experiences and stories with each other.

Would you rather get to work in the kitchen yourself? Then choose the cooking workshop and prepare a delicious Korean meal together with Mi Jung Kim. Dinner is included with the workshop. Please note: there is a limited number of workshops available, so be on time!

About VER VAN HIER VER VAN HIER is a cultural stage about adoption, in which the stories, experiences and perspectives of adoptees are central. From November 27 to 29, Studio de Bakkerij in Rotterdam will bring makers, artists and the public together for a weekend full of theater, music and other art forms.

The program provides space for stories that are still heard too little within society and the cultural field. Based on their own experiences, makers explore what adoption means for identity, origin, family, memories and the feeling of belonging somewhere. This creates space for different perspectives, recognition and meeting.
