The Bench (by accident) is about the absurdity of the world and that it is time to accept that the only way to meet each other with honesty can arise by surrendering to it.

This performance follows a to-do list that leads the way from A to B with a collection of directions, all while we do not know exactly where we are going. In places such as a waiting room, a fish swimming in its own water, or a clock that loses track of time. The core of The Bench exposes disorientation. Characters float in a paradox where they long to withdraw and simultaneously yearn for connection; between withdrawing and taking action; between suddenly grasping something that you immediately lose. Instead of offering a solution, this work is a poem about how to remain—with uncertainties, with each other, and with what we cannot solve.
