The traditional Paloma is mixed with tequila, lime, salt and grapefruit juice. It is a very popular drink in Mexico and the Netherlands follows suit. May 22 is International Paloma Day and several Rotterdam establishments are organising events.
Paloma Walk
Following the success of the Margarita Walk, Silbar, DiepNoord, Bar Lou and Bar Tipsy are organising the Paloma Walk on 23 and 24 May as part of World Paloma Day. At each location, there will be a different version. From spicy to tropical. Strip tickets can be bought via this link. The route between the participating businesses on Berweg and Benthuizerstraat is less than 500 metres. And is therefore bridgeable even after a few Paloma's. It is also possible to get something to eat at each participant.
The Paloma Walk passes Silbar, DiepNoord, Bar Lou and Bar Tipsy
Botanero
In the middle behind Botanero s bar is written in big letters: Paloma. The popular drink comes from the tap here, with rhubarb as a special ingredient. On 22 May, of course, they celebrate International Paloma Day with an offering of different types of paloma. There will also be a party with music .
