
Market Bar Mare, Lucia, Bar Bocht and Bar Dertien nominated for Entree Awards
The Rotterdam hospitality industry always does well at the Entree Awards. A jury of hospitality professionals, on behalf of Entree, judges the most distinctive restaurants, hotels, cocktail bars and hospitality concepts in the Netherlands that have opened or restyled that year. This year, Market Bar Mare, Lucia, Bar Bocht and Bar Dertien are nominated.
In 2024, Duke of Tokyo, 1Nul8 Basement, Bar Bù and Café Kiem still won, and Robin Bravenboer was named Hospitality Entrepreneur of the Year. A year earlier, that title was for Herman Hell.
This year, Market Bar Mare has been nominated in the category: Best New Dine & Drink big city for less than 100 guests. The market bar is located on Westerstraat, in the Scheepvaartkwartier. Hte offer consists of fresh fish, seafood and perfectly matching wines. There is also a selection of ready-made dishes and exclusive delicacies.
Lucia is Loesje Tieleman's new Italian restaurant on Zaagmolenkade. Already known as owner of Louise Petit Restaurant, Le Petit Déjeuner and cocktail bar La Soirée, Lucia has a chance to win in the category: Best New Dine & Drink big city 100-200 guests.
There are two Rotterdam contenders in the Best New Restobar category: Bar Bocht and Bar Dertien. Bar Dertien is part of the world's first Coffee Hotel by Man With Glasses Coffee on the Linkerk Rottekade.
Bar Bocht belongs to the same owners as Rotonde. Bar Bocht, next to Rotonde on Goudsesingel, is a coffee bar, lunch bar, wine bar, cocktail bar and food bar all at the same time. An accessible meeting place from early morning to midnight.
On 1 December 2025, Entree Awards will be presented for the 18th time.
