De Grote Schijn celebrates anniversary edition in Kralingse Bos
This autumn, De Grote Schijn returns to the Kralingse Bos. For the fifth time, you will be immersed in a magical world while walking during a breathtaking performance. For this special anniversary edition, which takes place from Thursday 24 October to Sunday 10 November, the organisers promise an all-new audiovisual experience.
On a two-kilometre evening walk, visitors are taken into a world where nature, music and technology come together. A new surprise awaits behind every tree, from colour explosions on the foliage to a ballet of water jets and fluorescent grass stalks. This fifth edition, which takes place in the autumn holidays, once again brings the forest back to life, in complete harmony with nature and with Kralingse Bos as its backdrop.
Christophe Van Hostauijen, director and creator of De Grote Schijn, gives a sneak preview:
"This year we are using a lot of lighting, sound and networking technologies to make everything seem even more immersive and impressive. We want to immerse visitors in an almost cinematic world as soon as they walk through the gate. What exactly awaits them during this fifth edition is best for them to come and discover for themselves, but for the highlight of the walk, they can look forward to an intense and surreal live experience."
