CAMERA JAPAN is taking place for the 20th time. From 24 to 28 September, the festival returns to its Rotterdam home base LantarenVenster. With a market at FENIX for the first time this year, visitors can enjoy Japanese delicacies and possibly buy various authentic products on 27 and 28 September.
The full programme, including the films, workshops, performances, exhibitions and Japanese Market participants, will be announced on the website 1 September, after which ticket sales will also start.
The CAMERA JAPAN Festival has grown into the largest Japanese film festival in the Benelux countries and attracts thousands of visitors every year. CAMERA JAPAN is characterised by a very diverse programme: in addition to feature films, documentaries and anime, it also focuses on many aspects of Japanese culture, including visual arts, literature, music, dance and food. The festival has welcomed a wide range of established Japanese directors in recent years.
