Ito Meikyu is a virtual reality experience inspired by Japanese art history and literature. It features references to works such as the Fukinuki Yatai , The Tale of Genji , and The Pillow Book . The work is constructed as a sensory fresco, full of emotion and poetry.

In a labyrinth of architecture filled with infinite patterns, scenes emerge—drawn, animated, sonorous—where plants, animals, people, objects, and calligraphy combine to form a world at the intersection of inside and outside. Depending on your choices, you continually experience new fragments of this universe, in a game of chance and discovery.
