Musical cabaret spectacle about optimistic childhood dreams and what came of them (or not).

As a child, Guido had big dreams: he would conquer the world and was constantly busy making plans to achieve just that. He examines his youthful optimism: why hasn't he started after all these years? Why does he take 'not taking himself seriously' so incredibly seriously? Where does his perfectionism come from and why does he have the feeling that the best is yet to come?
