Sentimental Value is the new film by Joachim Trier, once again starring Renate Reinsve in the lead role. The film follows actress Nora (Reinsve) and her sister Agnes, who have recently lost their mother. When their estranged father, the successful filmmaker Gustav, gets back in touch with a screenplay, he offers Nora the lead role. This marks the first step in an attempt to rebuild the bond between father and daughters.
