Politie Warnsveld is a ska-punk band that mercilessly knocks everyone out of their comfort zone. With hyped-up energy and a big middle finger to arrogance. They unleash mosh pits with pop songs and steamy parties that feel very much like a protest. Without irony, but with sincere chaos.

With their unique blend of pop, ska-punk and expressionist madness, they quickly became the most important side project in Dutch music. Frontman Joris van de Waterbeemd, guitarist Emile Salentijn, keyboardist Olivier Pot and bassist Hidde Hendriks give a voice to those seeking an alternative to today’s despair.

They won the Roos van Nijmegen award in 2024 and brought the house down at venues such as De Melkweg, Doornroosje and Luxor Live. DJ Klapsalon channels his energy through the uncanny selection of idiosyncratic sonic creations originating from various depths across the globe. His reputation for the body moving and soul troubling crowd is thriving throughout the Universe, bagged with unsettling records he lays at dance meetings, listening gatherings, and radio shows. Mostly he will spin records on vinyl, but from time to time original tapes as well or even cd’s.
