Orgel Vreten

Two ancient Hammond organs, a hefty dose of rock, funk and psychedelia, and musicians who push each other to the limit. That is Orgel Vreten! What started in 2012 as a one-off organ battle grew into a quirky live band in which the Hammond organs of Thijs Schrijnemakers and Darius Timmer play the leading role. With a solid rhythm section and a sousaphone as an extra asset, the riffs, solos and grooves will fly around your ears. Expect an exhilarating mix of space rock, funk and psychedelic outbursts, where the musicians constantly challenge each other and the energy is regularly at boiling point. With their new album 'SAHARA' in their pocket, Orgel Vreten is coming to Rotown on Saturday, April 24. Mandatory listening for Hammond enthusiasts!
