Omar Dahl

Omar Dahl is crossing bridges between East and West since they started making music in 2017 in a small shed in a Belgian town. Inspired by organic rhythms from the Arab world and Balkan, they explore the liminal space between consciousness and dreams. So let yourself be completely swept away at GROUNDS by their ingenious combination of synths, string and traditional wind instruments that seamlessly merge into an extremely danceable sound.

Drawing influences from artists such as Kerala Dust and Altin Gün, Omar Dahl’s music fuses downtempo house with Eastern melodies, creating a sound equally at home in hazy clubs or sunlit festivals. Their global travels, from Saudi Arabia to Mexico, have enriched this fusion, blending sultry rhythms with driving beats.

In 2025 they released Traum, their 4th EP and first collaboration with Berlin-based label Laut & Luise, a meditative fusion of downtempo and organic house with rich Middle Eastern influences. Across four tracks, Omar Dahl crafts a dreamy, immersive soundscape blending electronic rhythms with cultural heritage.
