On Sunday, December 7th, we'll celebrate the end of the first series of MAKE with an inspiring TechTalk and crafting afternoon at De HER. Between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, creator Bo van Hoorn and spoken word artist Amara Gabriela will take you into their creative world: how do you shape an idea, how do you create something truly yours, and how does passion grow into a profession?

Unique view

During this afternoon, you'll get a unique glimpse behind the scenes of MAKE. How do you transform an idea into something you can hold, hear, or experience? What does it mean to create a gift, not just buy it, but one with a focus on craftsmanship and ownership? You can also see the work of the young makers from the first edition. They'll present their work and give the handmade gifts to their loved ones.

Making afternoon

And you don't just watch: in short crafting sessions, you can get creative yourself and create a small gift for someone else. Discover for yourself how craftsmanship, technique, and creativity complement each other.

Exhibition

And of course you can also visit the exhibition AYNI: Living in Abundance , which can be seen in De HER and revolves around giving, receiving and passing on knowledge and craftsmanship.
