Ik Had Eigenlijk Nee Moeten Zeggen - Maarten Westra Hoekzema

For everyone who sometimes (or often) says 'yes' when it should have been 'no'.

Maarten Westra Hoekzema has often said yes when he might have been better off saying no. In this performance, he looks back on moments full of discomfort, such as cooking for his Belgian in-laws or babysitting for a weekend. With his sharp humor and charming narrative style, he dissects his own behavior and makes it universally recognizable. Yet he comes to the conclusion: luckily I said yes. A performance full of hilarity, self-mockery and surprising insights into how our choices give color to life.
