Welcome to Het Liedjesloket: the bureaucracy of song-making! At this musical counter with many instruments, you order a song based on your feeling. The counter runs like a well-oiled machine: everything is measured, listed, figured out, categorized, checked off and archived according to the law of the counter. But... What if what you feel does not fit a song from the archive and the rules of the counter?

Are you allowed to feel that feeling? Can you still give voice to what you feel? And how do the officials at the counter deal with that? A musical Kafkaesque adventure for young kids!

The Song Desk encourages children to think about their feelings. What do I feel? And how does that sound in music? Cie Selderie wrote 15 new songs about feelings and lets the children choose each song and participate in a delightful way.
