The little blue notebook has disappeared. The notebook in which countless stories of a young, imaginative mind were recorded. As Elizabeth tries to recall the memories and their contents, old and new stories unfold, musically depicted by piano and toy piano.

The boundary between reality and imagination gradually blurs in a musical world full of unexpected repertoire, elaborate playing techniques, and electronics; sometimes captivating, sometimes slightly unsettling. The Little Blue Notebook is an unconventional piano recital in which music, storytelling, and collaboration with a mime artist come together, inviting the audience to reflect on the role of imagination in a troubled world.
