AI Hype, Hope & Humanity Festival

What happens when artificial intelligence moves from the hype into our everyday lives? AI Hype, Hope & Humanity brings researchers, policymakers, creatives, students and curious citizens together to explore what AI means for the way we work, learn, create, care and live together. It is hosted by Erasmus University Rotterdam at De Doelen. Across three days, the festival looks beyond the headlines and asks bigger questions: Where can AI genuinely help? What could go wrong? And who gets to decide what responsible AI looks like? Expect conversations, debates, research, demonstrations, creative interventions and plenty of opportunities to get involved. The programme explores AI in areas including work, health, education, media, food, public safety and defence. Whether you are fascinated by AI, sceptical about it, or simply wondering what all the fuss is about, AI Hype, Hope & Humanity offers a space to think, question and experiment together. The festival is rooted in research, but designed to be accessible for everyone. You don't need to commit to three days.
