Cooking Mom is a personal workshop where food, heritage and family stories come together. In every edition, the guest chef shares a recipe from their home. You not only learn how to cook, but also taste the stories, traditions and love that are passed on through the dishes.

For this edition of Cooking Mom, guest chef Naya Aljoudi takes centre stage, supported by their partner Hannah. Naya is a poet and researcher. They grew up with Syrian food culture, in which food is much more than just nutrition, but a way for them to show care, keep memories alive and bring people together. In their work and creative practice, they are often occupied with themes such as migration, exile, community, identity and how culture is passed on.
