Conversations x Lightroom Expanded

In Conversations, a performer appears as a guide and mirror, leading the audience into a virtual space that gradually opens up to encounters with themselves and with others. The performance explores the relationship between individual experience and collective perception, and questions how an encounter with another can deepen our understanding of identity and presence.

Based on the Renaissance work Belle qui tiens ma vie by Antoine Arbeau, the performance brings together different layers of time, reality, and perspective in an immersive environment. The result is a poetic exploration of curiosity, connection, and the search for oneself in a world that increasingly consists of overlapping realities.

Conversations is part of the Lightroom Expanded program, a collaboration between UPscaleXR, International Film Festival Rotterdam, and dashxr.
