Changez - F*ck Black Friday

On Saturday, November 29, 2025, the day after Black Friday, BlueCity will traditionally transform the old Tropicana swimming pool into a green department store with:

  1. Rotterdam's largest clothing swap
  2. Textile repair café where you can learn to repair your favorite clothes yourself
  3. Knitting café with #don'ttalkjustknitting
  4. Market with 20 circular and sustainable entrepreneurs
  5. Upcycle workshops: embroidery or screen printing on textiles
  6. Restaurant with sustainable snacks, burgers and drinks

Together we're fighting the buying frenzy this time of year. No bargains, but instead, secondhand gems, repairs for your favorite clothes, and sustainable Christmas gifts.
