Dutch scholar Anne Schram Ouweneel presents Ik wil je het een en ander vertellen (I Want to Tell You Something), part 1 of the Rotterdam War Biographies, which centers on Lion Rippe (1923-1943). In 1942, during the Second World War, Lion (Jons) Rippe created an interactive route map featuring all of Rotterdam's tram and bus lines. At that time, Jons himself was already prohibited from using the tram because he was Jewish.
