BlackBeach ^{+ Gespuys}

BlackBeach and Gespuys join forces and will sway across the Netherlands together on their EB&VLOED Tour. On 13 December, they will flood GROUNDS with the biggest danceable synth waves in high spring tide.

The three-piece band BlackBeach was born out of a desire to make live alternative electronic dance music. With their combined background in punk and rock, they approach electronic music differently from today’s standard. With multiple synths, a drum machine and electronic drum kit, they create a sound that ranges from cinematic music to raucous rave. Where others were stuck in genres and styles, they saw an opportunity to mix their diverse influences and create something entirely unique. With fast beats at 140bpm and melodic synth riffs, this results live in a cutting experimental sonic journey.

Gespuys is a Delft Dutch-speaking electro-pop duo that uses strong, poetic lyrics to scrutinise outdated standards, without necessarily pricking your conscience. With their versatile setlist, filled with songs such as: “Berend Botje”, “Inter-Minus-Net” and “Afgeleefd (Ik Ben Een Man)”, they give the problem, without imposing a solution on anyone. They do this all under solid beats, hypnotic synths and cohesive guitars. Speaking in a familiar language, Gespuys grasps the absurdity of everyday life.
