Alexis Ffrench moderne pianist met soul

Composer and pianist Alexis Ffrench moves freely between classical and other musical worlds. With his own approach to ‘Classical Soul’, he does not let himself be limited by genre, era or traditional expectations. His music draws on diverse influences and combines a cinematic simplicity with direct, accessible compositions.

In October 2026, his new project 24 will be released. The album consists of 24 pieces that together follow the course of a single day, from sunrise to sunset. In doing so, Ffrench focuses on the ordinary moments of daily life and the role that music can play in them: as accompaniment, as a point of rest and as a space for reflection.

Ffrench reaches a wide international audience with his music. His catalogue has been streamed more than a billion times worldwide and his single Bluebird achieved gold status in the United States. In addition to his work as an artist, he is actively committed to music education and is the first Artistic Director of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in the 133-year history of the organisation.

On 5 June 2027, Alexis Ffrench is coming to de Doelen, with music in which classical sounds, personal moments and the rhythm of daily life come together.
