Myrte Leffring interviews Adriaan van Dis about the poetic short story collection MIJN KUST. Memories full of fear, war, and pain, and yet he returns time and again to the place where his family, driven from the tropics, started a new life. It is the source of his writing. Artist Harald Vlugt worked on the visualization of the stories in the collection in almost surreal layers of dreams and reality.
