Science on Tap E03: The News Trust Crisis
Join us for an evening with media researcher Arne van Lienden from Erasmus University as we explore how journalism, technology and society are reshaping the way we consume information today.
What to expect This edition of Science on Tap dives into the growing crisis of trust in the news. Together with Erasmus researcher Arne van Lienden, we'll explore why confidence in journalism has reached historic lows and what role social media, AI and representation in newsrooms play in shaping the information we see every day. After the talk, there's plenty of room to ask questions, share perspectives and continue the conversation over a drink at OASE's Strandtent. No prior knowledge is required, just curiosity and an openness to hear different viewpoints.
