Rotta Nova is a new residential building that is being built on the green strip between the Hoogstraat and the Markthal in the center of Rotterdam.
In Rotta Nova there will be 258 owner-occupied and rental homes in two towers of 67 meters and 61 meters high. The plinth will house shops and restaurants. The residential complex also has one hundred car parking spaces and 650 bicycle parking facilities.
The urban residential block will be 67 meters high on the Binnenrotte side and 61 meters on the other side. The facades of the houses are made of concrete with light yellow brickwork, which refers to the colors of the nearby Laurenskerk. The connection, with roof garden, will be 22 meters high, connecting it to the other buildings on Hoogstraat. The residential tower will have small offsets in the walls where greenery will also be given a place.
