A comedy musical about friendship and unfriending.
Former classmates, colleagues and above all best friends, Melissa Lodder, Jip Wassenberg, Aniek Venhoeven and Lisa Schol, collectively known as de Meute, present a new Dutch musical about (un)friends. This comical musical takes place during rehearsals for the annual final performance of a rather absurd amateur theatre group. What starts as a promising process changes as the tension between the four friends increases. Deep-rooted frustrations put the friendship on edge and what seemed obvious for all those years threatens to collapse.
We're having fun. opens the conversation about the taboo topic of unfriending. Are you really such a good friend? And who would you better 'break up' with? By means of singing together, surprising sketches and recognizable situations, the Meute takes you on a hilarious and moving journey. The Meute has previously appeared in various productions such as Dear Evan Hansen, Malle Babbe, Spring Awakening and in the RTL program The Headliner.
