Victoryland
Victoryland, the band fronted by Brooklyn musician Julian McCamman and Dan Howard, is coming to Rotown on November 3.
On the critically acclaimed label debut My Heart Is A Room With No Cameras In It, released earlier this year, they process themes such as alienation, longing, and loneliness into colorful, exuberant songs that are as melancholic as they are infectious. Think of the emotional indie rock of Cold War Kids, the idiosyncrasy of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, and the danceable drive of LCD Soundsystem. A band that proves that vulnerability, experimentation, and irresistible hooks go together perfectly.
